ABOUT LOBBYCO!

LOBBYCO.org was founded in 2017 as a volunteer only based awareness website that doesn't have a bank account and accepts no money.

LOBBYCO.org's aim initially in 2017 was to raise the public's interest in understanding the systematic abuse and disrespect inflicted on unemployed people which sadly still exists based on my own first hand experience.

Since 2017 as my awareness and understanding on other important issues has arisen, every year has brought new CAMPAIGNS that NEED the public's awareness that are all just as important as the first campaign!

LOBBYCO's first campaign was to lobby for effective social security laws that STOPS the obvious abuse caused by direct social security laws. One campaign is pure legislated outdated SEXISM' which breaches mostly women's (and men's) human rights to dignity and also discriminates against each person's equal right to a safety net income, for example women's eligibility for Centrelink is based on a partner's or parent's' income and assets NOT HER OWN! - WHAT THE!!!

Internationally, nationally, and locally the most important campaign is obviously always: "PEACE4ALL!" which obviously is totally self explanatory.

Still even after the failed referendum, NOW the most pressing CAMPAIGN is for all Australians to understand our herstory and history and be respectful and ensure that legally indigenous peoples of Australia are given their own Treaty and therefore legal self-determination, which is well overdue!

Another important campaign in the public's interest likely to effect every Australian at various times of their lives is the way they and their love ones may be effected by Australia's each independent state and territory inheritance laws. The #HERITAGEandEQUITY4ALL campaign which in summary: seeks to bring overdue warranted attention to the lack of anti-discrimination laws in our current Succession Laws throughout Australia, which currently have no 'direct' no fuss ANTI-DISCRIMINATION or LEGAL ENFORCEABLE DUTY OF CARE PROTECTIONS in place to ensure all child beneficiaries are not unjustly discriminated against in both non-monetary and monetary terms in the first place when a Will is written and before it can be 'equitably and legitimately' signed. At present, as was the case in 2018, a Will was helped to be signed by a lawyer which contents on close inspection totally violated my full and equal human rights to equality or not to be discriminated against in "ALL FORMS", and therefore it can be legally concluded even by a layperson that the 2018 Will constructed, clearly with no due diligence or regard as to my dignity, was negligent and shows little respect for the United Nation's CEDAW Treaty that the Australian Government signed on behalf of all women of Australia on 28 July 1983. The failures of the legal legal practitioner who organised the 2018 Will to be written and signed and his subsequent instructions to a lawyer in his employ and hiring of a barrister to try and justify that such perverse and extensive discrimination should be allowed to legally be represented is hopefully soon seen to be legally absurd. The lack of remorse or legal understanding of international treaty law by the 3 lawyers involved in instructing my two elder brothers that such a obscene discrimation against me is lawful is incredulous - for which i now seek before the Supreme Court of South Australia my full and equal rights to all my parent's' estate just like my brothers and full costs and damages against all of them for failing to settle my claims amicably and respectfully without fuss from the outset. The fact that i have now had to bring in both my state the national Attorney-Generals as respondents also to my claims before the SCSA due to the extremely disrespectful discrimination inflicted upon me in the 2018 Will shows how since 1983 their each successive offices have failed to ensure 'direct' equal inheritance rights protections were in place so women like me do not have to resort to traumatising, costly, and time Court procedures just to receive their equal rights to each of their male siblings - which according to CEDAW is meant to be provided in the first place both in private and public dealings in "ALL FORM" by all individuals, no matter who they are, whether they are employed or not, whether they are a lawyer or judge or not, no matter their gender or their age. Some EQUALITY and HUMAN RIGHTS laws in Australia are 'indirect' but it's certain that based on the principles of justice and what Australia has internationally legally obligated to us all 'indirectly' as Australians, such protections NEED to be easily interpreted and enforceable 'direct' laws when a Will is written via DUTY OF CARE PROTECTIONS - not ones that must be provided to us individually as necessary by a Court - which most people cannot afford therefore justice is not being served, and people should not have to have lesser legal rights to justice just because they can only afford to self-represent (that is even if they have the able time or ability and equipment to do such) - therefore on the basis of this further discrimination imposed by extraordinary legal processes, to ensure such current "indirect legal rights not to be discrimated against in all forms" is assured, it can be legally concluded that the scale to guarantee such basic legal human right of equality to each beneficiary in every Will already written or about to be written in the future would be a ridiculous prospect and logistical nightmare for all Supreme Courts in Australia, thus "DIRECT DUTY OF CARE PROTECTIONS" in all Will sections in all SUCCESSION ACTS are absolutely needed to guarantee the most justice for all!

That is one of the many important law reform cases i can write or talk about, and as an mature volunteer, as a practising qualified artist, i am compelled to talk about such as part of my practice - as an arist i can no longer 'turn the other cheek' and think "it will be okay mate" because certain important matters NEED all our attention and addressing so every person's quality of life is respected and not overlooked or 'trodden on'.

As you'll notice LOBBYCO is still lobbying to for all the campaigns listed on this website.

Hopefully Australia's Labor Government will be the progressive mature government we all need, and along with the GREENS and Independents the hope is for a new enlightened civil rights era that finally ensures international human rights are finally honoured 'directly' in our national and state laws and gives not only women equal eligibility in "ALL FORMS" but all genders - it is well due that our governments at every level delete discriminatory, subversive, oppressive laws and amend current laws to ensure anti-discrimination laws are part of their LEGAL DUTY OF CARE PROTECTIONS and obligations and legally enforceable as should be the case as is the responsibility of each of our elected government representatives.

At the very core of every LOBBYCO CAMPAIGN is the 'CRY FOR HUMILITY & HUMANITY", essentially for the essential CHANGE NEEDED to enable all people throughout this world to be truly "born free" and encourage law to be implemented in all countries which can help ensure "quality of life" from birth until death for all people.

As an artist i create "ART WITH A CONSCIENCE!" and i seek to challenge each person's awareness as to the plight of other citizens who are less well off than themselves - and who deserve not to be, and i challenge our government to change and make new laws to guarantee duty of care initiatives that will ensure their quality of life is created, protected and paramount.

When i was sitting my entry exam to try to get into art school, one of the projects was for me to draw a picture of what i thought the future would look like . . . little did i know then, that thirty years after graduating art school i would be trying to do the same thing but this time also using words and hashtags.

My views on the world have changed, i am no longer naive to the underbelly of the world, and therefore seek extensive law changes that seem so simple yet seem still so far away.

I've lived through the struggle for Marriage Equality and friends dying and living their whole lives without that fundamental human right, and i've studied about the civil rights movements of the last century, and there is still many mountains to cross, but i climb everyday no fail.

This art website is like a science fiction story 'cause what i ultimately seek to achieve is currently fiction - i am trying to create a world that doesn't currently exist because lack of Essential Economics laws and our archaic social security laws are not conducive to a happy experience - we need new laws either because the ones we need do not currently exist or the ones we have need to be tweeked to allow for basic human rights freedoms that are not currently enshrined in our civil and common law and our social security law, therefore governments throughout the world need to change and make new laws so all people in our multitude of countries throughout the world can indeed for the first time experience Quality of Life from birth until death.

Rich people can often take for granted basic human rights because they have the ability to earn or by whatever means have enough money not to have to rely on a social security benefit. As an artist i now rely on income support from Centrelink. If you've never had to rely on a benefit you may never have had to stress about what it's like to have an income, what its like to never have enough to afford the most basic of things like food, clothing, an affordable secure home. No person born should have to struggle day after day for most of their life, like i have had to do since i left my parent's home - and there are millions if not billions of people like me throughout the world who like me have probably had enough also of the constant struggle, yet grin and bear it for the sake of all around us and yet sacrifice our own feelings for the homogenised version of our societies that likes to suggest that we don't live a life like a hollywood backlot - yet to all of us who are indeed vulnerable citizens - our lives are facades afterall - in a lot of cases wasted lives, because our communities could be so much better than they are, but they aren't.

We watch everything on TV and are lead to believe the majority are all doing okay, we should not want anymore or we are being ungrateful for what we already have. In a lot of cases TV is a facade, a dream world that we pretend exists - but it doesn't really 'cause a lot of our government's laws don't allow for true freedom and true happiness to eventuate and be sustained throughout our lives, for all its citizens.

When we look at history and i mean HIStory, yes it is HIS story, and very little HERstory or HER story!

Just look at the laws of the world, most have been made based on either what the richest want and/or what the religious rulers want/ed. Over twenty centuries of mostly laws made by males, now in the 21st Century when i say "i think primary family carers (mostly women and some men) deserve at least a Homemakers Wage i sincerely believe they do, no doubt about it!" - if women had been making laws for the first twenty centuries we would already have such a law - yet still in 2022 we still SO undervalue what women do and that is a disgrace!

There are already enough laws to protect corporates, companies, business, organisations, religions, the richest and the rich, NOW we truly NEED laws that protect the middle class, the working class - and ESPECIALLY our most vulnerable people on social security.

Without governments we would have anarchy - so that is obviously not the answer, and what i have come to know over my life as the careless too right wing Liberals (who don't know what it is to be a true liberal) in Australia believe in small government - and again that is obviously not the answer. What we need our government to be is large enough that we can say it is truly "Great!" - that is to say that it provides all the essential services we each need at an affordable price and that we all are guaranteed enough income for a quality of life based on our needs - currently this is not the case.

Although our experiences are different, our fundamental emotions and feelings are the same the world over, so in my fifties i find myself producing art that seeks real change which can enhance all our lives like never before, and to achieve my goals i have to try and lobby fellow citizens and politicians alike to encourage real change!

Even though my art may make seemingly simple requests, its seems strange to be having to be lobbying for essential rights which any normal person would think we already have by default via our Centrelink social security laws and in what we would expect our Essential Economic policies to be - but we don't - and its seems it is only when a person is truly in need, you can begin to notice all the cracks, the broken bits, the missing bits in our seemingly first world country. Most people i know who don't rely on Centrelink and seemingly by default think everything is fine and dandy which is far from the truth.

The reality is Australia is not a first world country when it treats its most vulnerable on Centrelink with disrespect and also ignores others that should be entitled to benefit yet are not. Australia is a second world country with a long way to go - 'cause from where i've experienced most of my life - the mirage has always been a promise but never truly a reality - a facade, a tease, this is not good enough - nor should there be an expectation that it should be enough! We have a diminished experience in our Australian society today for millions of people, and there should not be a stance by anyone that this is good enough!

My art might seem like science fiction now, my playing with words and hashtags might not seem very important, but it is to me, because its me fighting not for just myself but the millions of people like me the world over - my hope is the social engineering or necessary change that i'm seeking via changing old laws and creating new laws will one day create the much needed reality we all deserve so that all of us will be able to live happily - no matter what each person's income and assets, as long as they're above the poverty line, and we all have affordable safe homes with wrap around services that ensure we are freed from disrespectful government coercion and archaic irrelevant and disrespectful laws and instead have the necessary choice to decide what we need in our lives, throughout all our lives.

To have such a world we need our governments to have the will to want to be great, and the will to achieve such quality of life for us all!

Sincerely,
